US Cross Belt Plate (Civil War or Indian War) with embedded Minie Ball
What a story this could tell and I assume it was a cherished souvineer of some lucky soldier. A US cross belt plate which has been struck with a Minnie ball. It has pierced the plate and penetrate the lead filled reverse and knocked away one of the steel retaining hooks. Lots of white oxidation to the lead bullet. 1915 dated British E Tool Handle
Very hard to find maker marked and 1915 dated e tool handle (these marks are almost always worn away). This example is marked mid shaft and looks like T H&W over 1915. The stick is sound but could use some linseed oil and the steel end sanded down as it is rusty.

Very hard to find maker marked and 1915 dated e tool handle (these marks are almost always worn away). This example is stamped just below the metal end cap and look like DAYTON ????? CO over 1915.
The stick is sound but could use some linseed oil and the steel end sanded down as it is rusty.

WW1 British/Canadian Bombers Hook - Mills Grenade Accessory
A very iconic item of trench warfare. An issued bombers hook used by grenadiers to pull the rings out of Mills Grenades and used during raids and cold weather. An extremely rare bullion embroidered officer cap badge to the BESL which formed a branch of the Canadian Auxiliary Services during the war. They ran service huts, leave centers, etc.
