WW2 Canadian Navy Wool Work Cap

An unual RCN wool cap. Almost looks like a civilian styled cap with a snap up brim. Maybe for dock work? Very heavy dark blue wool. Marked inside with a faint inked C Broad arrow and the WA (War Assets) stamp showing that it was surplused off at the end of the war.
