WW2 Bakelight Cigarette Case - Maplex Brand

A pocket sized cigarette case of black bakelight. The case has a sliding lid and holds ten smokes (which corresponds to the rations in which ten cigarettes were provided). Each cigarette rests on a tiny spring so when the lid is opened it pops up out of the case. Marked on the bottom MAPLEX MADE IN CANADA.
