RCAF Escape Compass - Small Size

A lovely escape compass, believed to be Canadian made. A small quantity of these compasses (large and small types) surfaced in Montreal, Quebec a few years ago as part of an RCAF pilots effects. If you look closely at the compass face, the direction indictors are in French not English.

The compass is mint and works fine. This is the small size measuring 7mm across. The smaller types were easier to conceal inside shaving brushes, lighters, etc.
