WW1 Colonel's Peaked Cap - Named and dated 1916

A very attractive officer full dress cap which is named inside to SHAW and dated 31/1/16. The badge and peak are of bullion wire which is quite tarnished. The side buttons are multi piece construction George V officer pattern. The lining is well marked with pattent date of 1912.

This cap displays very well but could certainly use a little TLC in cleaning. There is a very small wear hole to the top as can be seen in the photos.
