Newfoundland Regiment Sweetheart Badge - Red Enamel

A scarce gilt and enamel sweetheart badge to the Newfoundland Regiment. This is the same size as the collar/cap badge. Note that there is a small chip to the red enamel at the right most edge. Pin fastener is present.

I think the colour of the enamel may represent a particular Company as I have one of these in Blue Enamel as well.
