WW1 Leather Horses Nose Bag
An unusual piece of horse equipment for the cavalry or veterinary corps collector. A leather nose bag which I believe is in fact intended as a muzzle rather than a feed bag (judging my the holes in the sides). I would think this would keep a horse from biting when being worked on a vet or farrier.
No maker marks that I can find but certainly WW1 equipment. The brass rivets are tinned over as found on holsters and other leather equipment.
