10th Bn (Calgary) Trench Cap - 1918 Dated - Named and numbered

A lovely Canadian trench cap to the 10th Bn. Nicely dated 1918 with makers mark and C Broad Arrow.

This hat has a few scattered moth nips but looks fantastic with a distinctive "saddle" shape where it has molded to the owners head.

If you run his name and service number through LAC, you will see that he enlisted with Depot CASC. He must of went to the 10th as a late war reinforcement.

You can see where a badge was removed and replaced with the 10th Cap badge. However, from the verdigris and wear, you can tell the badge is period to the cap.
