1941 Canadian Machine Gun Corps Officer Tunic - Named to an MC Winner

A service dress tunic with Bronze MG Corps officer collars, Captain rank and ribbon bar displaying a WW1 Military Cross, War and Victory Medals. Has some moth nips, pulls, etc to the exterior and lining.

All buttons are CEF era officer MG Corps types.

The tunic is named inside the pocket to Capt VR Davies (March 1941).

He is listed in the book THE MILITARY CROSS AWARDED TO MEMBERS OF THE CEF: Davies, Vernon Russell T./LT. 1st Bn MG Crops. 06/03/19 Awarded on occasion of His Majesty's Birthday. No citation.
