WW2 German Life Saving Medal

A scarce WW2 German life saving medal (note the swastika on the eagle). This is very small and measures 5 cm across. The medal is made of a base medal and has been silver plated I would say which shows some wear to the finish. No maker mark on the edge rim. The ribbon remains bright. Scarce!
