1942 Canadian Mk II Helmet with partial insignia to Le Regiment De Maisonneuve - 2nd Cdn Div

A CLC 1942 produced Mk II helmet showing lots of wear to the painted finish and insignia. Although only about 40% remains of the insignia, it stikes me as being Regt de Maisonneuve which fought through NW Europe as part of the 2nd Canadian Division.

The condition of this helmet is quite worn but has certainly been there. Retains the VRC liner and a faded chinstrap which is C Broad Arrow marked. The markings on the shell are hard to see but can be made out in proper light (I've boxed the on the photo - CLC 1942 73).
