WW2 Manitoba Volunteer Reserve, M.V.R. Armband - Captain

1940-1945 issue, Manitoba Volunteer Reserve arm band. Black cloth with blue borders, with letters M V R painted in red on it. Has six snap fasteners to adjust for size. The MVR was not issued uniforms but did wear armbands and field service caps. A scarce item to one of the Veterans groups of WW2 that did home protection service.

The three chrome snap fasteners to the front designate the rank of Captain.
