WW2 PPCLI Officer's Field Service Cap - Attributed

A very scarce PPCLI FSC. Fine rifle green wool construction with French Grey piping and Boss to the front with sterling and gilt Patrica coronet. Officer gilt VP buttons to the front. Fine velvet lining. From my own collection (a better speciman having come my way recently).

The hat shows general wear and could stand a good steaming and reshaping.

Named inside to SINCLAIR. A LT Sinclair is shown in the Regt Roll as having joined the Regt late in 1945 and passed away in 1960.
