WW1 Canadian/British Private Purchase Officer's Canteen

A flask styled water bottle covered in fine khaki material with leather carrier (missing the hanging straps from either side). The snap lid is a heavy silver plate. This would of been worn by a gentlemen of means. I have seen a photograph of Agar Adamson (famous in the PPCLI having gone on to command the Regt) wearing this same style of bottle. Rare!
