Canadian/British 1953 BMB Mk2 Airborne HSAT Helmet

A British produced 1953 dated HSAT which likely saw Canadian service. The green textured finish is worn overall and has red primer showing through in a number of spots. The liner is nice but unmarked on the leather sweat band (no maker or date). The top pad in the crown is present. The brass retaining bolts and friction nuts are all present and correct. The khaki chinstrap has blackened brass fittings, the chamois chin cup is quite worn and partially separated from the cup. Not a mint piece by far but a good honest well used lid.
