Canadian 1944 Signals Dispatch Rider's Helmet

A near mint Canadian DR helmet with lance cpl stripes painted on the sides and a Signals Tac Sign to the front. I'm not sure what unit 51 was assigned to? Lovely textured paint finish. The liner is marked BMB 1944 and size 7 3/4. There is one small spot of dry rot to the leather liner. This helmet shows only minimal wear. I purchased this example from a collector in France in the 1990's when I was collecting helmets.
