Officer's 10th Bn Memorial Cross - 2nd Battle of Ypres 24 May 1915
An historically important Memorial Cross to Lieut S.E. Lewis of the 10th Battalion Cagary Highlanders. Lieut Stanley Lewis was listed as killed on 24 May 1915 at the 2nd Battle of Ypres. In six hours of fighting the battalion had lost in killed and wounded nineteen officers and nearly six hundred N.C.O.'s and men, out of a total strength of eight hundred and sixteen. read more
