A rare pair of shoulder to the 86th MB Bn. Shoulders are made of copper and each one has one replaced lug (very neatly done). The collars are ever so slightly different but a very close match. I suspect they were worn as a pair. read more

Round pin. 33mm across, with red outer border, words WELCOME 1945 GRENADIERS, on white backing. Pin back. Reverse marked: Made by Manitoba Stencil and Stamp Works Winnipeg.
Issue to welcome the Winnipeg Grenadiers back from HONG KONG when they reached Winnipeg in 1945 (those few who survived Japenese captivity following the fall of Hong Kong in 1941).
