79th Cameron Highlanders of Canada Sporran - C Broad Arrowed
A fine pre WW1 sporran (possibly worn into WW1) to the 79th Cameron Highlanders out of Winnipeg, MB (they became the 43rd Bn during the war). The goat hair plumes are in very good condition. These Oliver pattern carriers are near impossible to find on their own. However this is the first one I've ever seen regimentally marked to the Royal Canadian Regiment with service number. 313 being the last three digits of 7313 Carleton Woodford ALLEN. Victorian Sherbrooke Regiment Cap/Collar Badge Gilding Brass
This badge was worn as a cap and a collar. Mazeas shows this badge as having been issued in 1900 and was replaced with a King's crown variety shortly thereafter. Lovely badge in gilding brass with both lugs present. Scarce! read more
