An exceedingly rare and fine universal helmet with plate to the 90th Winnipeg Rifles (Little Black Devils). The universal helmet has been tea dyed and has the helmet plate (possibly a shoulder plate) affixed to the front by pressing the three lugs through the helmet. c.1915 REPEAT Needham Brothers, Multi-tool Pocket Knife - LW Ball, CFA
A high quality Repeat, Needham Bros, pocket knife. Engraved to LW Ball of the Canadian Field Artillery. An archival search revealed his attestion papers. Gunner Leonard William Ball, enlisted in 1915, showing his residence as Duncan, BC (having former service with 5 Field Artillery).
