1917 German Canteen
An Imperial German canteen with a nicely maker marked and dated 1917 cover. The leather strap is dry and broken in two spots. This came with the gas mask (listed separately) and I suspect the pair was captured together as they came of a Canadian estate. read more
WW1 German Gas Mask and Can
The can has been painted Feld Grau over black and retains the strap (although tattered somewhat with a break). Inside the can is the paper instructions and a spare set of eye pieces in the top. The Gas Mask is of leather construction and pliable with all straps present. The filter is rusted with a crack but complete. From his estate, a clothes/button hook made out of a mauser bullet casing with hook attached. Canada GS button on the casing. A very striking item. read more
