An unusual large militia period badge to the VRC. This badge measures 2.75 inches by 2.75 inches and has two mounting lugs to the reverse. Typically VRC badges are blackened but his one is in brass and shows no traces of ever having been black. read more

A scarce turn of the century brass knife for cutting dynamite (as it will not produce a spark). Nice age patina and maker marked SSS on the handle.
