1939 RAF Type B Flying Helmet- Battle of Britian - AM tag Frnk Bryan Ltd London
A scarce Type B flying helmet with nice maker tag and date of 1939. As the photos illustrate, this helmet shows use with soiling and wear to the chamois lining. All straps and buckles, pulls, etc are present and the leather is quite supple. The stitching has let loose around the right ear cup and partially on the left as well. An exceedingly rare four panel helmet cover for the Brodie made of hessian sand bags.
