North Vancouver, BC Canadian Engineers Swagger Stick - named
An exceedingly rare and charming swagger stick with Birks Sterling marked head. The head has the likeness of the Canadian Engineers Cap Badge marked beneath North Vancouver, BC. Engraved to the reverse is the initials B.B. This was obtained from the estate of a B.C. Bracewell (a deputy minister in BC from 1945-54). A large silver medallion with the likeness of Sir Arthur Currie to the front. The first reunion of the Canadian Corps was a three-day event in Toronto in 1934, attended by over 90,000 veterans.
